Two Amazing Artists. Two Incredible Songs.
But which artist do you believe attracted God's attention MORE?
The breakdown:
So in 2009 Tech N9ne released his album K.O.D (King of Darkness), which starts off with the very hard hitting and aggressive "Show Me A God." Tech wastes no time in setting up any type of delivery, he just jumps right into the album with one of his most aggressive and arguably most angry verses of all time. Tech is upset and frustrated with watching his mother, now deceased (R.I.P.), struggle with Lupus. He expresses his anger toward a God that could make such a devout believer suffer as much as she had. Tech also touches on a few other subjects throughout the song but the main focus is of his mother.
In 2014 Hopsin delivered a highly anticipated "Ill Mind of Hopsin 7." Fans of Hopsin know that he has struggled with his time in the limelight, but they may not have expected this to come out. This came as a surprise to me. Hopsin basically calls out God on the fact that he is losing his way and God won't show him a sign of which way to go. This track is more of a conversation, as one sided as it is. He definitely speaks to God directly and with a lot of passion. Regardless of how you feel about faith, Hopsin definitely made an understandable argument for his doubts.
So my question to you, the fans, which one called God out more? Was it Tech's vicious "Show Me a God" or was it Hopsin's enraged "Ill Mind of Hopsin 7?" Leave your comments below!
